Dust and Ashes

I’ve been working the last few weeks on the demos for my next record and gearing up for recording (most likely in the spring). So far, it looks like it’ll be a pretty mellow acoustic record but who knows once we start messing with it. As of right now it’ll be called Dust and Ashes but don’t hold me to that. Hopefully I’ll be able to let you all in on the details soon, I can tell you that I’m very excited about it though and can’t wait to get into the studio. I’m hoping to put another demo or two up on my MySpace page in the next week or two so keep on the lookout for that.

I’ve also been working on getting some shows lined up for this spring (before recording), it feels good to be getting back into the swing of things. As usual, if you want to host a show at your church or coffee house it’s easy to do and very cheap!

This weekend I’ll be hanging out with my lovely wife and watching the Super Bowl (Go Steelers!)… I heard there’s going to be a commercial with Macguyver! How cool is that?!!!?? I also REALLY need to clean out my garage so maybe I’ll do that if it stays pretty warm around here. Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend and don’t eat too many nachos!

Rock on!
Joe
