Black Friday=Sleeping in!
Hey all, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and if you went shopping this morning, I hope that you survived! We spent the holiday with my family, enjoyed some turkey and watched a little football. It was a good time and a great opportunity to remember all that we have to be thankful for. I just wish that I would treat everyday like I do this holiday… if only I would dwell on the Grace and Mercy of God, the love of Christ and the coming Kingdom the way that I should. These few weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas always try to pull my focus toward the light but the world just pulls right back, as if it has some claim to my focus. I pray that we won’t get caught up in the consumerism of the holidays but will set our hearts and minds on the things of God, Lord give us the strength to do so!
One last bit of news, I may not be in Nashville right now but everyone is still working hard. Jeremy just let me know that Garett Buell and Mark Polack are recording drums/bass today at Paul Eckberg’s studio… I’ll let you know how it all goes!
Enjoy the weekend and I’ll talk to you soon!
