Merry Christmas! Have a song (or two!)

Howdy, I hope you’re all ready for Christmas and enjoying the holiday season! Just a few updates for you before the weekend since I’ll be out and about visiting family and other holiday gatherings.

First of all, I put up a demo to download on my Myspace page… it’s a song called “On this December night” that I wrote recently. It wasn’t done in time for the new record so I figured that I’d might as well give it away. I guess it’s a bit of a melancholy Christmas song or maybe just a winter lament, either way I dig it. I recorded it on my powerbook back in the home office… not as great as Casella’s studio but it’ll have to do! I’ll leave it up to download on that page until sometime after Christmas.

Also, ebflo.com has put up some free Christmas music to download including a hymn (Ye souls redeemed with Jesus’ precious blood) that I played a couple of years ago. I think it was recorded at a church service but I’m not sure. I had actually forgotten about it until they put it up! The quality isn’t the best but it works fine, it’s not a bad tune although I’d love to redo it. Feel free to check it out!

Lastly, the record is still coming along nicely and I’m hoping to get some rough mixes by the end of next week. I’ll let you know!

I guess that’s all for now, have a Merry Christmas and I’ll talk to you soon! God bless!

Joe
