The show in Souderton last Sunday was a lot of fun and we were very thankful for such a great crowd. I got to play a few songs off my new record (a bit more info below) and as usual, had a blast with Derek. Thanks to the church for having us out and thanks a bunch to Derek for once again asking me to open for him.

Set list:
1. Nothing hurts like the truth
2. Careless
3. This great divide
4. Love still remains

You can find a review of the show here.

On the way home, we got a bit lost (thanks for nothing Mapquest!) and then got stuck in traffic for an hour or more due to road construction. I have no idea why I don’t own a GPS unit but come this birthday, one shall be mine! If you know of a good one that isn’t overly pricey, drop me a line and let me know.

In other news, I just got the rough mixes for the new EP and I think it sounds great. I’m hoping to get it all locked in and finished for a September/October release. I just need to get everything set up on this end for the free download… I’ll keep you updated on that. I’ll also put a song or two up on Myspace/Facebook/Socialnetworkingsiteofthemoment when they’re finished.

Till next time,
Joe
